1. Who we are

The Prophet Years is an independent, non-commercial archive. Contact: [email protected]. These terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.

2. What this site is

This is a non-commercial historical archive about two recordings and the people who made them. It sells nothing. Its purpose is documentary: to gather primary material — pressings, catalogue entries, chart tables, flyers, press cuttings and recollections — and present them with their sources.

3. Accuracy, and how to correct us

Statements of fact on this site are anchored to a source, and the source is linked. Recollections are presented as recollections. If you believe something here is wrong or incomplete, tell us and we will check it against the documents and correct the page. Corrections are made openly, not quietly.

4. Third-party rights

Sleeve art, photographs, magazine pages, flyers, trade marks and recordings referenced here remain the property of their respective owners. They are reproduced for the purposes of quotation, review, reporting and historical documentation. No endorsement by any label, publication, artist or venue is implied.

5. What you send us

When you submit material through the contribution form you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it, and you grant The Prophet Years a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce it on this site with the credit you have specified. You keep your copyright. You may withdraw the material at any time by writing to us, and we will take it down.

Do not submit anything you do not have the right to share, anything unlawful, or anything containing another person’s personal data without their agreement.

6. Liability

The site is provided as it is. We take reasonable care over what we publish but do not warrant that it is complete or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

Links to Discogs, Official Charts, record labels and other sites are provided for verification. We are not responsible for their content.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
